The renowned South Beach condos are set in a beautiful Florida location known around the world. Property investors from all walks of life head to this area to take advantage of the tropical and scenic location. The area is also known for some of the most impressive condominium residences in South Florida which provide for a variety of income brackets and tastes. This includes some prestigious South Beach condos like Apogee South Beach, Setai South Beach, Continuum North Tower, W South Beach and Continuum South Tower.
Within the United States, this location holds the title of the second most visited city which is of little wonder with the wide range of first-rate shopping, dining and entertainment facilities on offer, with the cultured city of Miami standing as an urban hub. The first-class real estate of Miami provides a multitude of luxurious property features and inclusions found only in South Florida.
In present times, the stretch along Miami Beach and Sunny Isle Beach contains an abundance of upscale properties and condominiums. Overall, the lively atmosphere of the area draws both tourists and home buyers to the picturesque destination. During the early 1900’s, investors Carl G. Fisher, John S. Collins and the Lummus Brothers combined to further develop the area which included the famed Collins Bridge connecting Miami with stunning beach locations. Since then, the area has undergone various alterations such as an influx in visitors to the area, a flourishing local economy and the destructive hurricane of 1926.
This attractive region provides a multitude of gourmet restaurants, boutique outlets, hotel accommodation and nightclubs to satisfy a wide range of tastes. Presently, the district is favored by both American and foreign visitors with a number investing in the local real estate. With plenty of European visitors frequenting the area, the patience for topless sunbathing is understood even though it is named a public beach. The influence of the abundance of multi-cultural residents is also evident with a variety of different languages utilized in the area. As recorded in 2000, over half the population spoke Spanish while English was only native to around 33% of the local residents. Additionally, approximately 3% of residents primarily spoke Portuguese, 2% French, 1% German and 1% Italian. It is also home to a large Jewish and Israeli neighborhood which lends itself to approximately 1% speaking Yiddish and Hebrew.
This locality is also widely recognized by the distinct and vibrant lifeguard towers. As a result of Hurricane Andrew, the city of Miami decided to redesign the towers once again. With the assistance of architect William Lane, the newly created lifeguard stands became known worldwide.
